Ancelotti's men trained at Real Madrid City.

Real Madrid got the 2021/22 season up and running as the team completed the first training session of the pre-season campaign. The players, who underwent their medical check-ups this morning, came together to train at Real Madrid City in a session led by Carlo Ancelotti. The workout began with a circuit featuring fitness exercises.

Next up, the players worked with the ball as they practised ball circulation, possession and pressing and contested a match on a reduced-sized pitch. The session was rounded off with the players split into groups in which they completed some high-intensity running drills. Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez completed part of the session with the group, whilst Ferland Mendy trained indoors. Isco was absent for family reasons with the coach's permission.
