NEWS | 29/12/2020The coaches from the social sports schools in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Romania, Kenya, Uganda and Lebanon shared their experiences in this special online training session.
The Real Madrid Foundation's Training Department has launched a new series of online activities for the coaches at the social sports schools across the world which aims to share experiences between the coaches and educators. The Foundation Match is a space through which to share strategies for putting the teaching of values through sport into practice. This session was attended by the coaches from schools in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Romania, Kenya, Uganda and Lebanon.
The coaches enjoyed a hugely enriching conversation which allowed them to share their experiences and lessons learned in the process of teaching and learning values. Despite the fact each country has its own particular situations to contend with, the ability to adapt the Foundation's activities mean several doubts could be resolved and new challenges were set for the upcoming season.
Schools in Africa and the Middle East participate for the first time
This was the first time that schools from Africa and the Middle East had taken part in the sessions and they will continue throughout the season as a fundamental part of the coaches' continuous training. The schools involved are run alongside the Kinetic Foundation in Croydon (United Kingdom); Epicentr for Children in Ukraine; the Protagonists in Education Foundation FDP in Bucharest (Romania); the Anidan Association in Lamu and Direct Action's Sananda Foundation in Kapsabet (Kenya); the Cesal Association in Kampala (Uganda); and the Proyde Association in Rmayleh, Lebanon.
