The team will be aiming for a repeat of the win secured at the Di Stéfano to take another step towards the next round of the Champions League (9pm CET).
The second half of the Champions League group stage kicks off tonight for Real Madrid at the San Siro, where the team comes up against Inter Milan (9pm CET). Zinedine Zidane's troops will be aiming to secure a victory that would take them closer to the competition's last 16 with two matchdays remaining.

This contest sees the Whites return to a setting that is part of the club's recent history. The last time Real Madrid ran out at the San Siro, they ended the night by celebrating the club's Undécima. That Champions League triumph marked the beginning of another of the madridistas' feats as it represented the first of the trio of continental crowns captured between 2016 and 2018. The Milan stadium also holds special memories for Zidane, who claimed the first trophy of his managerial career here.

Zidane lifted the maiden trophy of his Real Madrid tenure at the San Siro: the

"We'll have to dig in, but we want to pick up the three points", commented Zidane in a press conference in which he was joined by Luka Modric. There will be changes to the line-up from the reverse fixture, with Karim Benzema, Fede Valverde and Sergio Ramos all unavailable. The French coach has named a 21-man squad for the trip to Italy.

Strikes from Benzema, Ramos and Rodrygo handed Madrid a 3-2 triumph in the sides' most recent meeting, which took place a few weeks ago. That win represented the sort of performance required in what will be the madridistas' fifth European Cup visit to Inter. The Italians welcome back Romelu Lukaku, who was unavailable for the game at the Di Stéfano.
