Real Madrid now has the club’s 34th league title in the trophy cabinet. A trophy that has returned thanks to Zidane, who has now won 11 titles as Real Madrid coach. He has won 3 Champions Leagues, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 2 Spanish Leagues and 2 Spanish Super Cups. The Frenchman has won the second most titles in the history of the club, behind Miguel Muñoz, who won 14.

Against Villarreal, Zidane won his second league title, the second title in his second term as Real Madrid coach and the second of the season after winning the Spanish Super Cup in Yeda in January. 

First spell
