Ramos, Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo were on target in a thrilling final against Atlético in Lisbon.
On 24 May 2014, Sergio Ramos etched his name into the club's history books, courtesy of his headed goal in the Lisbon final against Atlético. Six years have now passed since that magical 93rd minute, when the central defender restored parity in the derby encounter and sent the match into extra-time, during which the Whites completed the comeback through goals from Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo in what was an unforgettable night.

Real Madrid - Atlético de Madrid
En route to the Lisbon final, the madridistas came up against Galatasaray, Juventus and Copenhagen in the group stage. In the knockout rounds, they locked horns against a trio of German sides: Schalke (round of 16), Borussia Dortmund (quarter-finals) and Bayern Munich (semis). Incidentally, 14 years prior to this trophy success, the Whites also claimed European Cup glory against Spanish opponents on 24 May, when they lifted to lift the club's eighth continental crown against Valencia in Paris. The Décima triumph saw Real Madrid embark on a glorious spell that brought four Champions League trophies in five years.
