NEWS | 26/02/2020 | Alberto Navarro“We are all upset because we played well until the final ten minutes then it all changed”, he added.
“There were two good teams out there. It was a a good game. We had chances and so did they thanks to our mistakes. We scored in our worst moment of play as they had started the second half strong. After the goal we did well, but the ten or twelve minutes at the end were bad from us. They could have had a third. The last minutes were tough for us. We lacked concentration. The errors are part of the game, we have to analyse it as best we can”.
The second leg
“If we want to get through we have to go there and win. Real Madrid can do that. We know what we have to do. It’s a 180-minute-long tie and we need a win over there. We need to think about getting through to the next round. We have no idea in mind and that’s what we’re going to do”.
"We did really well for three or four months, got some very good results, and now we're going through a bad spell. When you get a bad result, you've got to stay together, be strong and keep on working. We've got a chance to turn this poor run around on Sunday".
"Sunday's is an amazing match and we've now got to rest up well and put in a great performance on Sunday. I hope that the fans come and help the team to get over this. We give our all out there, but we're on a bad run and we've got to get through this however we can. Sunday's game gives us a chance to alter this run of form".
Build-up to 1-1
"The referee told me that there was nothing in it and that there was no push. That was his decision and that's the end of it. That goal was key".
"He's an extremely important player for us. It was a coaching decision and I've got nothing against him. I just picked another player for this game".
