"The players who haven't played for a long time have performed at a very high level", he added.
Zinedine Zidane appeared in the media room at Las Pistas del Helmántico to assess Real Madrid's qualification for the Copa del Rey last-sixteen: “It was a tough night at a tough place to come and play. We struggled with moving the ball and we didn't see much great football, but that was down to the pitch, not more than that. We're pleased because in the end, we're going through to the last-sixteen and that's what we came to achieve”.
“We're not struggling for motivation. It was a difficult game on a very small pitch, but we know the motivation that the Copa del Rey brings and we want to move forward and keep winning. We gave everything we had on the pitch, without dwelling on it too much, you find the motivation when you start to play and you know you have to win. Now we turn our focus to the next game”.

Control of the game
“The pitch doesn't help to do as you wish, but we conducted ourselves well against a Segunda B side, who play more direct and we controlled it very well. We dealt very well with knock-downs, second balls and crosses and they didn't create many chances".

I'm happy with the players I have and what they're doing.

"The good thing for us is that the players who haven't played for a long time have performed at a very high level".

"He's twisted his ankle a bit, I don't think it's much, but as always, we'll see tomorrow. He couldn't go on".
"I'm happy because he scored the goal and gave us the win. All the players are here and when it's your turn, you have to get it right and that's it".
"Nothing is going to change. Everyone knows their own situation and I have a squad of 25 players. If there's a change, then we'll see. Until the 31st anything could happen, but I’m happy with the players I have and with what they are doing, they are committed and that's good".
