NEWS | 13/01/2020The two captains have won 4 Champions Leagues, 4 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 4 LaLiga titles, 2 Copa del Rey trophies and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
A special mention should be reserved for the 4 Champions League trophies on their honours lists. Indeed, both players scored in the final against Atlético in Lisbon in 2014, while Ramos himself lifted the trophy in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Sevillian centre-back also got his name on the scoresheet in the game that clinched La Undécima.
Both Ramos and Marcelo boast a 100% record in the Club World Cup, lifting the trophy in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 as Real Madrid were crowned world champions. The centre-back was once again crucial, netting in the finals against San Lorenzo and Al-Ain.
Their trophy cabinet also abounds with European and Spanish Super Cups. They've got their hands on the continental trophy on three occasions (2014, 2016 and 2017) and after their victory in Saudi Arabia, it's now four Spanish Super Cups. They won their first of these domestic honours when they beat Valencia in 2008, before getting the better of Barcelona in the 2012 and 2017 competitions. Against Atlético, Ramos converted the decisive spot-kick in the penalty shootout. The captains' trophy haul is completed by the Copa del Rey titles they clinched in 2011 and 2014.
