Ramos equals his highest-scoring season at Real Madrid

With the goal against Espanyol the captain has netted ten so far this season.
Sergio Ramos was on target in the win over Espanyol and has now scored ten goals for Real Madrid this season, equalling his previous best, which he recorded in the 2016/17 campaign. In Barcelona, the captain was amongst the goals thanks to his magnificent header, making it three headed goals so far this season. His other seven goals have come from the penalty spot.
Ramos’ goals have come in four competitions: LaLiga (five), Copa del Rey (three), Club World Cup (one) and European Super Cup (one). Thanks to these goals, the Sevilla-born player has now been on target 83 times for Real Madrid. Many of them have gone down in the history of the club, such as those scored in the finals of la Décima, la Undécima, the European Super Cup in 2016 and the Club World Cup finals in 2014 and 2018.
