Fran García: “I'll never forget this day”
“I'm so proud, it's a dream I've been chasing since I was a boy, I couldn't imagine the day it would come true. I dedicate it to all the people have been there for me and supported me when I've been injured or unwell. It's a memory I'll hold forever. There's no better way to end a period which has been rather fraught with injuries. It's a day I'll never forget".
“The stadium looks absolutely huge from down there and you have to be able to react well in front of the fans. I'm thrilled with how the game went and now I have to keep working hard. The coach told me to have confidence in myself and to keep playing as I have been lately”.
Assist for Isco
“I'm an offensive player and my pace takes me forward well. It was a pass into space which I got on the end of, I held it up a bit and then when I saw Isco was out on his own, I fed it to him”.
Fidalgo: "Making my debut at the Bernabéu was incredible"
"It was a dream come true. I've been at this club for six seasons now and making my debut at the Bernabéu was incredible. When you're on the bench and then you go hit the pitch, you see all the people in the stadium and it's incredible. I have worked so hard to get here, I am ecstatic".
"Tomorrow we have to move on, I’ll link up with Castilla to prepare for the match against San Sebastián de los Reyes. Solari told me to enjoy it, that I got here through sheer hard work. I only have good feelings from this, I have played under the coach for three years and I have always felt very comfortable. Last year I did not play so much, but he always gave me the confidence to keep on and he helped me with everything. This year he gave me my debut".
