"I'm feeling strong and hope to keep up the form I've shown in our recent matches", stated the Croatian midfielder.
Luka Modric addressed the press gathered inside the media room at the Juventus Stadium ahead of the Champions League quarter-final showdown between Juventus and Real Madrid (Tuesday, 8:45pm CEST), with the Whites' midfielder previewing the clash in the following terms: "In these sorts of games, the most important aspects are your experience and the fine margins, which can prove to be key in matches like tomorrow's. This encounter sees two teams that boast real quality go head-to-head and a key factor will be which of the sides makes the fewest mistakes and takes full advantage of their chances to win the game".

"I'm feeling good. I haven't got any of the discomfort that I felt in the last few games and that's the most important thing for me. I'm feeling strong and hope to keep up the form I've shown in our recent matches. Let's see how we set up, the coach will tell us everything tonight and tomorrow about how we're going to approach the game but that's all I can tell you".

"Benzema is in very good shape despite the fact that, as you point out, he's not scoring, but he has weighed in with goals in important games and he brings other things to the table, like assists and he makes a big contribution in other areas. We're really happy with him and long may it continue".

Cristiano Ronaldo
"Cristiano has great confidence in his ability. He's in fantastic form, has scored a lot of goals and it's important for us that he's firing on all cylinders. With Cristiano in this sort of form, we have a better chance of winning games and getting through this tie".

"It's good when others talk in positive terms about the team, it shows that they respect us".

"Let's see how the coach plays it. What I will say about Isco is that he's a terrific player, he's really important to us and that's all there is to say, but the coach is the one who will ultimately make the decision. It's good when others talk in positive terms about you and the team. It proves that they respect us, just as we respect them. They're a fine side and have some good players".

"He's doing very well. He's happy and is training well. It's been a tough season for him, what with the injuries he has had, but of late he's feeling good in terms of his fitness. He's on a good goalscoring run and we all know what Bale is capable of. He's got great quality and his contribution is very important for us because he really helps us out in terms of his pace and ability to get in behind. It's important that he feels good fitness-wise and that's all there is to it".

Starting line-up
"I think that we've shown so far this season and in recent years that regardless of who plays we're able to put in very good performances. The most important thing for me is that we all run and fight together out on the pitch and I don't mind whether it's Bale or Isco that plays because both of them are key players and have a great deal to offer. The coach is always the one who decides. Both of them offer real quality and give the team a lot of options".
