"Tuesday night's game will be a tough one and we'll have to be more focused because anything less than reaching the final will be no good", stated Casemiro."I didn’t know whether to celebrate it or wait a moment. Ultimately it was given and that’s my sixth of the season. I’m happy because I work every day to get opportunities like this. You never know when you’re going to get your chance and so you have to be ready, firing on all cylinders in every training session, so that you’re prepared at the weekend regardless of the role you’ll be playing. It doesn’t matter if you get one minute, five, or the full game. I got all 90 minutes today and am absolutely thrilled".
Bayern clash
“It’s great to go into the Bayern game on the back of a win. It’ll be the last Champions League game at the Bernabéu and with the crowd behind us, everything will come a lot more easily. We have to fly out the blocks, not relax, and must try and win it. Booking a place in our third Champions League final in a row is more than enough motivation”.
"We're certain that our fans won't let us down. We've got to go all out for the win right from the very first whistle. It was a difficult game at their place, but in the end we got the win, which was the important thing. We can't wait for the game to come around".
Casemiro: "The main things was to get the three points"
"We were made to dig in a bit, but the main thing was to get the three minutes. We eased off a bit towards the end and they keep going strong. As for the offside decision, we watched the replays at half-time and saw that it wasn't and also that in the final move of the match, all of the injury time had already been played".
Champions League
"We know that Tuesday night's game is a totally different prospect for everyone concerned. We're hoping for a great atmosphere and that the fans get behind us. It'll be a tough game and we'll have to be focused because anything less than reaching the final will be no good".
Casemiro: "We're hoping for a great atmosphere and that the fans get behind us."
"I didn't play in my usual position, but the coach is the one who makes the decisions and he can rely on me, be it as a midfielder, wing-back or central defender. The important thing is that we got the win".
Vallejo: "It was a demanding game"
"We put in a great first-half performance and in the second half we had to dig in a bit more. We handed them the initiative a little bit, but we're happy with the win. It was a pretty demanding game, but we gave our all. We head home with a good feeling ahead of Tuesday night's match. It was a very important game and was equally important to come through it unscathed. We now have to recover for the Bayern game, because we've got what's like a cup final ahead of us at the Bernabéu. The fans have always been amazing and I'm sure that they will be again in this game".
Llorente: "We won and are firing on all cylinders"
"We wanted to get the win and we did just that. We've now switched our focus to Tuesday's game, which is a really important one for us. Up until today we had been focused on the Leganés match and we managed to get the three points. We really can't wait for the Bayern game and are really excited at the prospect of playing in another final. We're firing on all cylinders and I hope that Tuesday proves to be a great night".
Casilla: "It was a disciplined display"
"It was important to give a good account of ourselves. Some of us guys who don’t play that often got a chance today and it was crucial to win it. We were up to the task. It was a disciplined performance, we were focused and intense, which is what the coach asks of us, and we took the three points. The great thing about this team is that we’re a solid unit and whoever plays, they’ve got our full support. We’re in for an exciting end to the season, all starting on Tuesday with our first final against Bayern".
Champions League semi-final second leg
"We need to think about the great things we did in Munich and learn from what happened at home against Juventus. If we do all of that and prepare ourselves mentally, we can make history by booking our place in another final, and we’ll do all we can to win it. We hope the fans will get behind us, just as they did against Juventus. Champions League nights at the Bernabéu are special and we’re going to need their support".
