The Portuguese forward has netted three braces and a hat-trick against the German side.
Meetings between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich represent the biggest game in European football. One man whose exploits in this fixture have seen him hog the headlines is Cristiano Ronaldo, after hitting three braces and a hat-trick - a total of nine goals - in his six outings against the German outfit.

Ronaldo's first goals against Bayern Munich came back in the 2011/12 campaign in the semi-final second-leg showdown at the Santiago Bernabéu, when he got his name on the scoresheet twice. Two seasons later, and once again at the semi-final stage, Cristiano struck another double, on this occasion when the sides met at the Allianz Arena. That game holds particularly fond memories for the Portuguese hitman as his goals saw him become the all-time leading marksman in a single Champions League campaign after his strikes brought his tally to 15.

Worthy of special mention
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich renewed acquaintances last term, when they met in the quarter-finals. Ronaldo's dazzling displays in the tie warrant special mention. In the first leg he conquered Munich with yet another double to secure a 2-1 away triumph. However, without doubt, his most memorable performance came in the return leg at the Bernabéu, when he put Bayern to the sword with three goals that took Madrid a step closer to Cardiff.
