“We had to get a third straight win but we didn't”, he explained.
Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, appeared in the press room at the Ciudad de Valencia after the league match: "We controlled the game, especially the first half. In the second we got the second goal, which was the most difficult thing we had to do. But then we could have prevented the second goal and we didn’t. We weren’t switched on and it’s hard to take because that’s two points dropped".
"This is football and the opponents are there to cause problems for you. After getting the second and being in the lead we should have stopped them getting a second but we didn’t. It bothers me because we work on it. We know that the opponent can cause problems on the counterattack and they’ve got two goals".

"I changed it because I wanted to add a little more strength in the center of the field with Asensio. And also with Lucas".
"I’ll always tell you that the league is not over until the end, there are a lot of points to play for but today we dropped two when we had the game under control, we had to get a third straight victory but we didn’t. We’re upset with the result as we were winning and we didn’t see it out. We’ve got another match next week and then we’ll think about the Champions League".
