Zidane, two years as Real Madrid coach

The Frenchman has already won eight titles in his time with the club.
On the 4th January, 2016, Zinedine Zidane was named coach of Real Madrid and two years on he is already among the most decorated coaches in the club’s history. The Frenchman's time as coach has been truly impressive and in December he added his eighth title. With him as coach, Real Madrid has lived a glorious era in which they won two Champions League, two Club World Cups, two UEFA Super Cups, one LaLiga and one Spanish Super Cup.
His run in Europe’s top competition deserves special mention. La Undécima was the start of his record as Real Madrid coach and he repeated the feat the following year in the Cardiff final against Juventus. Zidane’s team became the first team to win two Champions League in a row.
Historic year
His legendary career as a footballer has now continued into the position of coach, where he was in charge of the best year in Real Madrid history. 2017 ended with five titles: the European Cup, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, LaLiga and Spanish Super Cup. In addition, since his coaching debut in January 2016 (Real Madrid 5-0 Deportivo), his record is 84 wins (win rate of 72.4%), 21 draws, 11 losses, 306 goals for and 117 against.
