Thousands of Real Madrid fans celebrated winning the championship with the players.Madridismo experienced another magical moment with the celebrations of the 33rd league title. After the match ended at La Rosaleda, thousands of Whites’ fans began to make their way to Cibeles Square to wait for the players and celebrate winning the championship with their idols.
The Whites’ players and the coaching team arrived at the fountain at around half past two in the morning, after they made their way from the stadium where they also received constant displays of affection from the fans. At the square, the music and a light show completed the festive atmosphere. In addition, around Cibeles the message "Thank you madridistas" could be read.

The fans’ chants welcomed the team coach which had the players on board and had the words "33 league champions 2016-2017" on the side. The players subsequently went up to the footbridge over the fountain and celebrated this new league title with the fans. The climax of the celebration came when Sergio Ramos and Marcelo put a Real Madrid scarf and a flag around the statue of the goddess. The 33rd league is now ours.
