Real Madrid secured another victory on the road on the fifth and penultimate matchday of the Women's Champions League. The Whites took all three points against Celtic at New Douglas Park with an impressive display from Bruun, who led the Madridistas with a brace. In the final minutes, Alba Redondo made it 0-3. These two strikes took the Danish striker's tally to five goals in the competition and put her level with Harder (Bayern) at the top of the scoring charts.

The opening exchanges were scrappy, with both teams going forward without creating any clear chances. It was not until the half-hour mark, and after a goal disallowed for a questionable offside against Weir, that the first goal came. Linda Caicedo picked up the ball in the opposition half after a misplaced pass from the opposition defence, played it to Bruun on the edge of the area and the Danish striker fired in a magnificent strike to give the Whites the lead.

This victory means it is 12 points out of 15 in the Champions League group stage for Real Madrid.
