Feller brace seals win over Villarreal

Real Madrid beat Villarreal on LaLiga F matchday 22. Toril's side picked up their seventeenth win in the competition, their ninth away from home, and go into the international break on a high. The star of the show was Naomie Feller, who scored a brace (35' and 56') to seal the win for Madrid.
Our team dominated the game from the start and did not take long to create chances. In the 5th minute, Olga's long-range effort flew just wide. Shortly afterwards, a goal by Raso was ruled out for offside on Feller. The Frenchwoman was one of the most active players in attack and her persistence was rewarded after the half hour mark. A great through ball from Møller fed Feller who cleverly got past her marker, making enough space to beat the keeper with a low shot from the edge of the box.
Villarreal tried to equalise in the second half, but Misa blocked Kaneth's shot with a great save. Our team's reply came in the next move. A quick counter-attack ended with Olga's cross to the far post for Feller to extend the lead (56'). With her brace, the striker has now scored nine goals this season, eight in LaLiga F. From then on, both sides had their fair share of chances, but the score remained unchanged for Madrid to take all three points.
