Real Madrid prepare for Champions League opener
Xabi Alonso's side host Olympique Marseille on matchday one (Tuesday, 9 pm CEST).
After the victory at Anoeta, the Whites returned to training to begin preparations for the clash against Olympique de Marseille, on matchday one of the Champions League group stage, which will be played at the Bernabeu (Tuesday, 9 pm CEST).
The first part of the training session was in the gym. Those in the starting line-up against Real Sociedad did recovery work, while the rest of the players did stretching and strength exercises. The players then moved onto the pitch, where they carried out a series of pressing combinations, an attacking tactical phase and a physical endurance phase. They then completed a series of passing and finishing drills, as well as shots on goal.
Bellingham, Camavinga and Endrick carried out different phases with the group. Mendy and Rüdiger continued their specific recovery work.
