Real Madrid now know the eight opponents they will face in the first round of the 2025/26 Champions League after the draw held in Monaco. The Whites will face Manchester City, Juventus, Marseille, and Monaco at the Santiago Bernabéu, and Liverpool, Benfica, Olympiacos, and Kairat Almaty away.

Kick-off 16 September
In the first phase, all 36 teams will play in the same league. It runs from 16 September to 28 January, with the top eight going through directly to the Round of 16 and the teams from 9th to 24th place playing an intermediate round over two legs. The remaining teams are eliminated, without access to the Europa League. From the round of 16, the traditional process continues until the final, which in this edition will take place on 30 May 2026 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest (Hungary).
