Vini Jr.: "It's an incredible thing, not everyone can win the Champions League so many times"
"Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined this, I'm lost for words words," said Militão.
Vini Jr. scored Real Madrid's second goal at Wembley. The Brazilian, who also found the net in his first Champions League final in 2022, said: "I'm very happy to be able to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much. It's an incredible thing. Not everyone can experience it and win it so many times. It looks like it's easy to come here and win. We suffered a lot throughout the season, with all the injuries we've had. Everyone has worked incredibly hard to get here."
"I'm very happy to have been here for so long. Hopefully the presi can renew my contract because I want to be here forever and continue making history like Carvajal, Nacho, Modrić or Kroos. They have won the Champions League six times and they've shown us the way. I want to be like them. I'd like to retire here, although I don't think the people at Flamengo will let me."
Candidate for the Ballon d'Or
“It's very difficult to win the Ballon d'Or because of the whole process behind it, but I believe all those I'm with every day. They tell me I'm the best and I end up believing it.”
Militão: “Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined this”
“It's special because of the injuries and the difficulties I've had. Not even in my wildest dreams could I believe this. I'm lost for words. They've been difficult days, but I've overcome them with the help of my family. At last we're celebrating and we're very happy.”
“From the bench it's more difficult than on the pitch. You can't do anything and you can't help anyone. I was on my feet the whole time”
