Luka Modrić has been named in Croatia's preliminary squad for Euro 2024, which will take place in Germany from 14 June to 14 July. Ahead of the continental competition, the Real Madrid player will play two warm-up matches. First up, they take on North Macedonia (Monday, 3 June, 7pm) and then face Portugal (Saturday, 8 June, 6.45pm).

Drawn in Group B with Spain, Italy and Albania, Croatia will kick off their European Championship campaign with a match against Spain (Saturday, 15 June, 6pm). As well as the Croatian midfielder, Kroos, Rüdiger, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Mendy and Lunin have already been called up for the European Championship.
