Endrick: “Playing at the Bernabéu is going to be crazy”
NEWS.

Endrick gave his first interview as a Real Madrid player to Realmadrid TV, discussing his emotional unveiling and arrival at our club: "I'm so happy to be in Madrid and to have been to the Bernabéu. I played here once, but not as a Real Madrid player. I'm delighted to have met the fans and I hope I can play here for many years to come. It was always my childhood dream and now it's coming true."

“I started to learn about the history of Real Madrid when I first saw Cristiano Ronaldo play here. Then I saw all their Champions League wins, all the legendary players who have been at Real Madrid, the Brazilians who have spent time here… I dreamed of playing here one day, ever since I was a kid. I'm overjoyed and playing at the Bernabéu is going to be crazy."

Kings of Europe
“The 15 European Cups are crazy. I was lucky enough to see Madrid win their three consectuvie Champions Leagues, that was unbelievable and I hope I can help the club to win more Champions League trophies."

Praise for Florentino Pérez
“He's an amazing person. He's been at Madrid for many years and he knows all about the history and the strength of this club. Everything he does is for Real Madrid. I like the way he works very much, and how he manages to ensure Real Madrid remains the greatest club in the world. The president is always helping to take it to the next level and make Madrid even stronger. I'm delighted to work with a president like him.”

Madrid
“I love Madrid. Ever since the first time I came here when I was little, I've always loved the city, the weather, the people... And when I came to the Bernabéu for the first time, this incredible stadium, I had the chance to watch Real Madrid win and I went home happy. I have always known that this is where my dream was. I wanted to make it happen, and now, if I want to stay, I'll have to meet expectations."

His personal life
“I'm a really calm guy. A family lad, I just like being around my family and playing video games. That's what my life is like most of the time. I like having a good time with my brother, taking him to places where we can have some fun, teaching him how to play video games… God willing, he'd like to become a tennis player, so I'll be supporting him to do just that."

The Brazilian National Team
“I've spent time with Vini Jr. and Rodrygo for the Brazilian National Team. Whenever we've been together, we've talked about what it was like in Madrid. Vini Jr. didn't put the pressure on, he just let things happen. They'd talk to me about the city and in the latest squad get-together, they told me what it was like at Madrid, the training sessions, the matches, the pace of the game… I'm so grateful for their friendship and all they have been telling me. I'd like to thank Vini Jr., Militão and Rodrygo for all the help they've given me and I hope we have an amazing season."
