Real Madrid takes part in the tribute to Eduardo Chillida

The Reale Arena paid tribute to Eduardo Chillida during the Real Sociedad-Real Madrid match to mark the centenary of the artist's birth. Our club joined in the recognition and at half-time club president Florentino Pérez and Jokin Aperribay, head of Real Sociedad, presented two commemorative shirts with 'Chillida' and the number 100 on the back to the sculptor's relatives.

Before the match kicked off, Luis Chillida, the artist's son and president of the Eduardo Chillida-Pilar Belzunce Foundation, carried out the ceremonial kick-off. In addition, the Real Sociedad players played with a commemorative shirt to celebrate the occasion.
