Cucurella: "We have to give 100% and cannot relax for a minute"

Cucurella was in the starting lineup during the victory against Sevilla. The defender, who played the full 90 minutes, analyzed the win at the end of the match: "I think we played a very good game from the start. We had quite a bit of control and knew when to attack quickly and when to maintain more possession. I think we played a very solid 90 minutes."

How is the team feeling after these intense eight days?
"Very good. In the end, when you win, everything is better and easier. We had a scare on Wednesday in Rome, but we managed to turn it around in the end. That served as a lesson that we have to give 100% in every game and cannot relax for a single minute. I think we demonstrated that today. We played a great game, and everyone contributed their part. This is the path to follow."

Perfect home record at the Bernabéu
“The support of the fans is very important. It's not easy for any team to play here. This stadium is imposing, and it also helps that we have very talented players. If we make our home a fortress and a very difficult place to play, I think that's where we can accomplish great things and advance in everything we want to achieve.”

The return of Militão
“He's a great player with a lot of personality. He also contributes a lot to the locker room. He's a very cheerful guy, and I'm very happy to have him back. Now, we have just a few injured players, but little by little, we're getting there. The important thing is to have everyone available. It's a very long season. There are many matches, and the more players we have available, the better."

The team
“This is a team sport, 11 against 11, plus the players on the bench. Everyone, with the minutes they have, must contribute, and the most important thing is the team. I think we're demonstrating that. Today, different players scored, and everyone tries to contribute. This is the path to follow."

The Champions League match against Leipzig
“Securing a victory against Leipzig would be very important. We know that the Champions League is a special competition. We are very eager to achieve something important, and it's crucial to get the three points at home and ensure three wins."
