The Champions League returns to the Bernabéu tonight. More than a month on from their last game in the competition, Real Madrid are set to play their seventh and penultimate league stage clash with Monaco visiting the Spanish capital (9:00 pm CET).

Our team currently sit seventh in the standings, with 4 wins (against Marseille, Kairat Almaty, Juventus, and Olympiacos) and 2 losses (to Liverpool and Manchester City). Securing three points against Monaco will be crucial to remain in the top eight spots, which guarantee direct qualification for the round of 16. After tonight, there's just one match lett to play for Arbeloa’s side, who head to Benfica next Wednesday.

“Beating Monaco would bring us much closer to our objective," underlined Arbeloa in the pre-match press conference. Kylian Mbappé has been named in the squad for the clash, and he also spoke to the press in the build-up, stating: "We have to go after Monaco from the off, and win the game to be among the top eight." In the last game against Levante, the forward struck his 50th LaLiga goal for the madridistas.
