Castilla-Alcorcón: last friendly before league kick-off, live on Realmadrid TV
The academy team will be looking to finish their pre-season with another victory (Friday, 11 am CEST).
Castilla welcome Alcorcón to Real Madrid City on Friday for their sixth and final warm-up game before the start of the league season, on 29 August against Lugo at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium.
It has been a promising summer for the academy, which has seen them beat Marbella away from home (0-4), Racing de Ferrol at the Memorial Luis de Carlos stadium (2-1) and Ibiza at the Di Stéfano (2-1); the Whites also drew with Valencia Mestalla (1-1) and lost to Segunda División side Andorra. Rachad, one of the new additions to the squad, is the pre-season top scorer with 5 goals.
The squad continues to prepare for a challenging year ahead as it takes part in Group I of the Primera RFEF and in the Premier League International Cup. Arbeloa's men will be looking to round off the pre-season with another victory.
