NEWS.

It has been 23 years since Real Madrid won the third Intercontinental Cup. On 3 December 2002, our team won the third of its nine world championship titles, doing so in the club's centenary year. It was the end of a glorious 2002, in which the team had previously won La Novena and the first European Super Cup.
Ronaldo was one of the stars of the match against Olimpia de Asunción, putting the Whites ahead with his goal in the 14th minute. The Brazilian's performance saw him named man of the match, with Guti scoring the other goal.
