The second Clásico of the season in the Euroleague went to Real Madrid once again. Our team secured victory at the Movistar Arena, recording their fourth consecutive win against Barça in continental competition. Scariolo's men showed why they are the best team at home and dominated the game from start to finish with great defence. Madrid won every quarter, with Tavares (11 points and a PIR of 20) and Garuba (16 and 19) the standout players of the game.
Tavares led the team from the start, scoring Madrid's first six points and making it clear that he is the king of the rebound with three offensive rebounds before the first five minutes of play were up (10-2). MaledonGaruba and Hezonja, with four points each, countered Hernangómez's baskets to end the first quarter seven points ahead (21-14).

Real Madrid dominated at half-time
In the second quarter, Lyles (5 points) and three-pointers from Deck and Garuba extended the lead to +11, the biggest so far (32-21; min. 13). Barça scored several consecutive baskets to reduce the deficit to 32-29. But LlullTavaresOkeke and Campazzo, plus Madrid's strong zone defence, took the game into the break 12 points up (43-31; min. 20).
Spectacular defence
After the break, Brizuela took charge and the visitors narrowed the gap to 45-40 (min. 23). But our team did not deviate from the established script and, thanks to their dominance on the rebound, went on a 10-0 run with 6 points from Hezonja (55-40: min. 27). Barça tried to reduce the deficit, but Deck's accuracy from the perimeter (3/3 on three-pointers), Maledon and Garuba kept them at bay (63-47; min. 30).
In the final quarter, a brilliant Garuba countered Barça's push with 7 points, a rebound and a steal to maintain Madrid's lead (70-54; min. 34). Our impressive defence, Deck's fourth consecutive three-pointer and contributions from Lyles and Hezonja put the game to bed, giving Real Madrid their 14th victory in the Euroleague (80-61; min. 40).
