Pedro Martínez: “It’s tough to always perform well when playing so many games in such a short period”
“The most positive thing is that we managed to win the game without great suffering,” the coach added after the victory against Recoletas San Pablo Burgos.
Pedro Martínez analyzed the victory against Recoletas San Pablo Burgos in matchday 6 of the League. The coach said after the game held at the Movistar Arena: “It’s a game that cannot be explained without considering the dynamic we’ve been experiencing lately, with so many consecutive games, very little preparation time, very little recovery time, and also because we are currently having quite a few physical issues with several players.”
“All of this makes it very difficult for the players to be mentally well-prepared for the games every day. And today was an example of that. The most positive thing is that we managed to win the game without great suffering. And although we didn’t play brilliantly, I think it’s tough to always perform well when playing so many games in such a short period.”
