Poirier reaches 200 games with Real Madrid
The centre reached this milestone against Asvel Villeurbanne in Euroleague game 17.
Vincent Poirier played his 200th game in a Real Madrid jersey in the tie against Asvel Villeurbanne. One of the most outstanding players in the win over the French side, Poirier is in his fourth season with our team, which he joined at the end of the 2021/22 season, and with which he has won four titles: 1 Euroleague, 1 ACB League and 3 Spanish Supercups.
Poirier is half of the best centre pairing in Europe alongside Tavares. He is a sure thing in the paint and improves his performance year after year. His connection with Sergio Rodríguez is one of the hallmarks of this Real Madrid team. Poirier has been one of the most outstanding players in Chus Mateo's team this season.
