Chus Mateo named best coach of the Regular Season 2024/25
The madridista coach has been awarded the prize by the Spanish Basketball Coaches Association (AEEB).
Chus Mateo has been named coach of the Regular Season 2024/25 in the league. The award, handed out by the Spanish Basketball Coaches Association (AEEB), recognises Real Madrid's impressive campaign that saw them finish top with 30 wins from 34 games, unbeaten on home turf and with a flawless second half of the season.
Chus Mateo was named the competition's coach of the month in January, April and May. Our team are unbeaten in the Endesa League since the 29th of December last year, having taken 22 victories on the bounce. Real Madrid ended the Regular Season with five more wins than second place.
