Real Madrid was in attendance at the tribute paid to Drazen Petrovic, both a legend of our club and world basketball who died in 1993, which took place at the Zagreb Arena with a game between Croatia's national team, of which Hezonja is a member, and a team of European players, in which Tavares and Musa played. The event was also attended by Alberto Herreros, technical director of the basketball division, and Felipe Reyes.

During the game there was a special moment when Real Madrid paid tribute to Petrovic. It was during a time-out in the second quarter. Herreros and Felipe Reyes went out to the centre of the court and presented Asa Petrovic, the legendary Madrid player's brother, with a commemorative plaque and a team jersey with the name and number 5 that Petrovic wore for Madrid. They were accompanied by Luka Doncic, another of the club's legends present at the tribute, and Villalobos, a former teammate of his during the season he played for our team.

Three-point shoot out
Earlier, during a break, a three-point shoot out was played. Madrid players Hezonja and Musa had another great moment. Both reached the final and it was the Croatian, by one point, who was proclaimed the winner. In addition, former Madrid player Obradovic coached the Drazen Team of Euroleague players.

With the Madrid jersey he won 1 European Cup Winners' Cup and 1 Copa del Rey. Petrovic died on 7 June 1993 in a car accident at the age of 28.
