Sergio Scariolo spoke following our team's 107-93 win over Dubai Basketball
in EuroLeague Round 19 at the Movistar Arena. Our coach reflected: “The team put in a tremendous effort in the second half, and the fans played a very important role. Our supporters are getting more and more excited about this team. They understand our limitations and flaws, but they also feel our determination to overcome them and compete.”
“Defensively, the first half wasn’t up to standard. We have to remember that these players boast an unbelievable level and talent in one-on-one situations. If you’re not at 100%, if you’re at 70%, they’re going to score tough baskets. The feeling of team cohesion, unity, and shared effort was crucial, along with the generosity in offense on display."

“Usman has been pretty consistent lately. Mario had an up-and-down start in the first half, but he managed to stay calm and come out in the second half not just to score points, but to stay alert on defense. This will be a good turning point for him. That said, in a game like this it’s hard to make individual assessments. Lyles was decisive at the start of the third quarter; Abalde played a fantastic match; Deck was involved in every situation. Everyone who played did their bit."
