87-91: The Junior team, Spanish champions
Javier Juárez's team defeated Barça in the final to claim the title.
The Junior team of Real Madrid was crowned winner of the Spanish Championship in its category after defeating Barça in the title match (87-91), in the Clásico played at the Carolina Marín Sports Palace. Egor (19 points and a PIR of 21) was named MVP of the final. Fabian (20 points and 19 PIR) also stood out.
Barça started with a favorable run (23-9), but our team finished the quarter strong, reducing the deficit (27-20, min. 10). In the second quarter, Madrid raised their offensive level to turn the score around, heading to the locker room with a 9-point lead (44-53, min. 20).
Madrid takes control of the final
After the restart, Barça tried to close the gap, but Javier Juárez's team maintained their momentum to stay ahead (63-69, min. 30). The final quarter began with everything still to play for. Our opponent attempted to force overtime, but the Junior team relied on their shooting accuracy to withstand the pressure and secure the title with a score of 87-91.
