Castilla remain unbeaten at the Di Stéfano

Dotor was on target for the Madrid reserve team, who came close to winning the game against Cordoba.

Real Madrid Castilla picked up a point in the Primera Federación matchday seven fixture against Córdoba and could have claimed victory. The Andalusian team took the lead midway through the first half and Dotor levelled the score in the second half with a header. Raúl's side remain unbeaten at the Alfredo Di Stéfano, having won two and drawn two games.
 
The reserves went out on the front foot and tested the goalkeeper with three shots from outside the area in the opening ten minutes. The visitors answered with another long-range effort which De Luis kept out with a fine save. With 15 minutes gone, Arribas also tried his luck from the edge of the area, but was unable to open find a way through. In spite of Madrid's superiority, it was Cordoba who took the lead. A well-struck shot from the edge of the box from A. Casas made it 0-1. Dotor had a chance to grab the equaliser just before half-time, but his effort was deflected wide by C. Marín.

Real Madrid looked to mount a comeback after the break, but Dotor's shot was turn over the bar by C. Marín. After a fine save by De Luis to deny Córdoba, Castilla got their equaliser. Arribas swung in the corner and Dotor got up well to make it 1-1 with a great header (64'). Just minutes later, Álvaro played a good pass into Arribas, who came close to completing the comeback but his shot was cleared off the line by the goalkeeper. The reserve team came close to a second in the 87th minute when Dotor struck the post, but the score remained the same. Following the final whistle, the midfielder was shown a second yellow card.
