Raúl's boys beat their Second Division rivals thanks to goals for Álvaro and Arribas.

Real Madrid Castilla picked up a win over Second Division side Lugo in their fourth pre-season friendly. Our academy side put in a solid display from start to finish at the Estadio Viveiro and clinched a victory thanks to Álvaro and Arribas' goals. Raúl's team went ahead early on following a fine team move, when Peter darted into the box and unleashed a powerful shot, which the goalkeeper did well to keep out but Álvaro was on hand to turn into an empty net and make it 0-1 (8’).

Castilla looked dominant and were creating chances for fun, but it wasn't until the 39th minute that they doubled their lead. Peter took off on a run down the left flank and played a ball in behind the defence for Arribas, who shot across goal to make it two. The Galician team cut the deficit before the break with a Señé header. In the second half, Mario came close to hitting a worldie from miles out but Lugo's goalie did brilliantly to keep him out, meaning the result remained 1-2 until the final whistle.
