Sergio Ramos opened the scoirng for Spain in the win over the Faroe Islands (1-4) with a header from an Isco cross. This win sees him clinch a record number of wins for Spain. With 122 wins, the captain of Real Madrid has topped the record set by Casillas (121). Behind him on the list are Xavi (100) and Iniesta (96).
The captain got his first win on his debut, 14 years ago, on the 26th March 2005 against China (3-0). These wins saw Ramos notch an impressive number of trophies, winning the World Cup and two Euros. The madridista defender also has a great goal scoring record with the national team, having netted 19 goals. This past season he scored 6 goals for Spain and 11 for Real Madrid.
In terms of the number of games, Ramos is the second most capped player (164) and is behind only Casillas (167).
