"We had a number of chances and the goals will come", insisted Llorente.
Real Madrid picked up a crucial LaLiga victory over Rayo Vallecano (1-0) to make it three consecutive clean sheets, and much of the credit in that regard is owed to Thibaut Courtois, who discussed the game following the final whistle: “It’s important to keep a clean sheet and great to have gone three LaLiga games in a row without conceding”.

"The important thing is to win games like we have done today, dominating the ball and linking up well in attack, which takes us into the Club World Cup in good shape. Today’s win over Rayo was vital in ensuring we head to the Club World Cup next week full of confidence”.

Llorente: "We had a number of chances"
"We got the first goal and that meant that we didn't panic. We have to play with composure, just as we are doing and continue to show the same patience as we did against Rayo Vallecano, because the goals will come. This week, we worked on pressing high up and it paid dividends. They barely created any chances and we had a number of openings, like when Kroos hit the post and Asensio's shot".

"These three points are vital in terms of LaLiga and the Club World Cup. It's a very important trophy and we now have to win our game next week. Winning the competition for the third time in a row would give the team a real boost".

Isco
"He's an important player for us and the coach is the one who decides who to play and we respect that. We have to respect Solari's decisions and keep working hard to retain our places in the team. In the dressing room we're helping Isco in all that we can, just as we do with everyone else in the team".
