Aged 19, the young Ukrainian shotstopper has already been capped by his country's senior national team.
Andriy Lunin (11/02/1999, Krasnograd, Ukraine) is now a Real Madrid player. The 19-year-old goalkeeper, who has joined the club from Zorya Luhansk on a six-year deal, stands out on account of his considerable height, measuring in at 1.91m. The European champions have secured the signature of a young but experienced custodian who has already been capped by the senior Ukrainian national side, having made his bow in an encounter against Saudi Arabia.
He was handed his top-flight debut with Dnipro in the 2016/17 campaign, before moving to Zorya Luhansk the following season. Lunin, who has racked up over 40 appearances in the Ukrainian Premier League, showed signs of his ability in last season's Europa League. His stellar performance in his side's victory over Athletic at San Mamés saw him clinch a place in's Team of the Week.
