Morata made his 50th league appearance in the win over Málaga.
Real Madrid got the better of Málaga in a match which saw Nacho make it 50 LaLiga wins in a white shirt. The academy graduate, who made his debut on the 23rd of April 2011 in Valencia (3-6), reaches the milestone having made 64 appearances in the competition, scoring one goal.
“Nobody said it was going to be easy. We’re coming out of a bit of a rut and today’s aim was to win and take the three points. The victory was crucial to stay in top spot. These are the games that see you win the league in the end, and if you don’t win them they stay with you”.

Injuries
“It comes in spells. There are spells with lots of injuries all at once and others when there aren’t so many, but we’ve got the squad to deal with it. There are lots of players ready to play in this team”.

Marcelo
“He’ll have to have some tests. He’s a vital player for us and we need him back as soon as possible”.

NACHO: "THE AIM WAS TO WIN THE MATCH AND TAKE THE THREE POINTS TO HALT THIS NEGATIVE RUN"

"Of course we can turn the tie around against Celta. It'll be tough because they're a great side, but we're Real Madrid and we're used to being involved in these sorts of game".
Nacho, who has won 2 Champions Leagues, 2 Club World Cups, 2 European Super Cups, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 Spanish Super Cup in his time with Real Madrid, has appeared 11 times in LaLiga so far this season, notching eight wins.

Morata: 50 LaLiga appearances
Morata's half century of appearances have yielded 36 wins and 15 goals. This term, he has made 13 league appearances, which have resulted in 10 wins and five goals. During the course of his Real Madrid career, which began back on 12 December 2010 in a 3-1 away win at Zaragoza, Morata has lifted one Champions League, one Club World Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, a LaLiga title, two Copa del Rey crowns and a Spanish Super Cup.
