Portugal beat Belgium 2-1, whilst Germany thrashed Italy 4-1.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Toni Kroos starred for their national teams by getting their names on the scoresheet against Belgium and Italy respectively. The madridista striker hit Portugal's second goal with a header from inside the box just before half time. Cristiano Ronaldo was substituted on 61 minutes, whilst Pepe, who also started the game, played the full 90 minutes.

Toni Kroos got his name on the scoresheet for the second game on the trot as he broke the deadlock with a 24th-minute strike in a resounding win over Italy at Munich's Allianz Arena. The madridista beat Gianluigi Buffon with a fine strike from the edge of the box which snuck inside the post. This was the second successive game in which Kroos has scored, after having netted last time out against England, when he once again opened the scoring.
