Seven years of great goals and 17 titles

Position: Forward
Games played for Real Madrid: 286
Goals scored: 61

Marco Asensio's prodigious left foot has delighted Madrid fans during one of our most successful eras. From 2016 to 2023, the Spaniard scored 61 goals, many of them memorable for their beauty or importance. He would prove this on the day of his official debut with Real Madrid, when he opened the scoring in the European Super Cup final against Sevilla with a spectacular long-range effort. That day in Trondheim (Norway) he would end up lifting the first of his 17 titles with the white shirt.

A specialist in debuts, he also scored in his first match as a Madrid player in LaLiga, the Champions League, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. In the latter competition, he scored two goals (one in the first leg and the other in the second leg) to defeat Barcelona in the 2017 final.

But his name definitively won a place in Real Madrid legend when he was one of the scorers in the final of the Duodécima. Asensio capped off our team's display against Juventus by scoring the 4-1 on an unforgettable night in Cardiff. In his last two seasons, he broke his goalscoring record (12 in each season) and contributed to winning two consecutive trebles with Ancelotti on the bench.

A senior international with Spain, during his time at Real Madrid he was a silver medallist at the Tokyo Olympics and took part in two World Cups.
