Villa came to Real Madrid's first team in the 1958/59 season, aged just 20. That season saw the team enhance their history in the football world by winning their fourth consecutive European Cup. Villa's debut as a Real Madrid player that season was a great one, scoring in his first game in the win over Extremadura in the Spanish Cup.
The Sevilla-born midfielder played the next two seasons for Plus Ultra, where he demonstrated his goal scoring abilities by scoring a total of 24 goals in 37 games in the Second Division. Following another season on loan at Real Sociedad, he went on to have a successful career at Zaragoza, where he won two Spanish Cups and a Fairs Cup. He was a Spain international.
