Vincent Poirier joined Real Madrid in April 2021 and in the three and a half seasons that he was part of our club he won 7 trophies, including the 11th EuroLeague. The Frenchman perfectly complemented Tavares as the two formed the most dominant centre pairing in European basketball.

He won the League and the Supercup in his first full season. The following season, 22-23, he helped win the 11th EuroLeague and another Spanish Super Cup in Kaunas. His last season saw him win a hat-trick of trophies, consisting of the Spanish League, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup. As well as his rebounding ability and being one of the best shot blockers in the EuroLeague, Poirier became one of Real Madrid's most spectacular players, finishing off alley-oops made by Sergio Rodríguez.
