Five trophies in three seasons

Ramón Guardiola enjoyed a three-season spell as a member of the Real Madrid roster. Measuring in at 1.92m, the forward joined our club from Sevilla in 1966 and won five titles under Pedro Ferrándiz's tutleage: two European Cups, a pair of league crowns and a Spanish Cup.

He lined up alongside Madrid legends such as Clifford Luyk Emiliano Rodríguez, Lolo Sainz and Wayne Brabender, among others. He became the first Granada-born player to represent the Spanish national team, for whom he clocked up 23 apparances. He was forced to retire through injury in 1969.
