Defensive specialists & three-time European Cup winner

In the successful Real Madrid side of the 70s, which featured Luyk, Brabender and company, Luis María Prada was a key player in defense and instrumental in bringing balance to a team with such a raft of offensive talent. Measuring in at two metres, he also excelled on offensive rebounds and tip-ins, a go-to feature in his game.

Prada spent eight seasons at Real Madrid, with whom he lifted 16 trophies. One of his crowing moments came in the final of the club's sixth European Cup in 1978 as he put in a stellar defenseive performance against Varese star man, Bob Morse.
