We are in Vilches, a beautiful town in northern Jaén with about 5000 inhabitants. Large pastures, a lot of olive grove and important companies that maintain the population's economy. We are one of the most “inner coast” villages in Spain, since 3 swamps surround us. On June 3, 1996, it was one of the most marked moments for the Vilches Real Madrid players, since after some meetings it was achieved that our Peña would be constituted. We rented a place, we bought a television and prepared to follow our team. Finally that moment that dreams of any Real Madrid player says: to be able to attend Santiago Bernabéu to see our team. This caused great expectation. Our first Real Madrid-Logroñés was organized. What emotion to see that full field, with the stands vibrating! It was impressive. Then many more followed: Betis, Villarreal, Valencia, Deportivo ... I think we have seen him play against almost all the First Division teams and, of course, also in Champions. Champions. Time passed in our rock, and we continued with our functioning, we changed headquarters, directive, new partners were registered (we are currently about 160 older and 20 children), we celebrated all the titles of our team, which were not few, both football, and basketball. Until another time arrived to remember the year 2006, it was our X Anniversary, and this rock turned to the organization of one week of events, which ended with the assistance of the team of the Association of Basketball Veterans, to play a match against the basketball team of our town. It was a nice event that everyone was very happy and the organization was a success. As you can see, I think our rock has always been next to Real Madrid, but we are not only aware of the sports issue, we have always tried to be present in the social life of the people collaborating and organizing different activities. Actvities: - With the help of Real Madrid, which gave us a ball signed by all the players, we organized a small raffle to get money as a donation to a young boy who suffered an accident, staying paraplegic. - We collaborate with the Spanish Association against Cancer, in the organization of activities to raise money. - We contribute financially to the “Vilches host” association, which was responsible for bringing Belarusian children to our town, which were affected by the accident of the Chernovil Central, and so we will continue, while there is a single Vilcheño Real Madrid player who wants to participate.
