Real Madrid is now in the quarter-finals of the Women's Champions League, where they will face Barcelona. Just as they did in the first leg of this playoff (2-3), Pau Quesada's team was superior to Paris FC and also secured victory at the Alfredo Di Stéfano. Second-half goals by Feller and an own goal by N’Dongala sealed the triumph for our team, which deserved an even greater margin on the scoreboard given their play and chances.

Everything turned in our favor five minutes into the game with the clear expulsion of Greboval, who repeatedly held Feller at the edge of the area as the madridista was about to face Chavas one-on-one. Seven minutes later, Pau Quesada's side could have taken the lead, but the visiting goalkeeper outperformed Weir by saving the Scottish player's shot in the small area. The visitors responded with their first shot on target, forcing Misa to shine with a beautiful save after Picard's header in the 19th minute.

Chances
It was the only dangerous play from Paris FC during the first half, as they focused on containing the increasingly constant attacks from Real Madrid. After the half-hour mark, Däbritz crossed with her left foot, and Picard, inside the box, intercepted the ball's trajectory with her hand. Weir took the penalty in the 36th minute, but Chavas, highly inspired, guessed her intentions. The goalkeeper was the best player for the French team and demonstrated it again two minutes later by saving Athenea's shot from the edge of the area.

Offensive Masterclass
The first half ended goalless, but the script changed after the break. Pau Quesada's side kept trying to break through the solid visiting defense and succeeded in the 54th minute. Eva Navarro crossed the ball, and Feller, on the volley, sent it into the net. The lead extended 13 minutes later in a similar play. Once again, Eva Navarro, who was a constant threat on the right wing, delivered a cross that deflected off N’Dongala and ended up in the visitors' goal.

The score could have been 3-0 in the 76th minute after a brilliant outside-foot pass from Linda C. that left Däbritz one-on-one with Chavas, but the German's shot missed the target by centimeters. From then until the final whistle, Real Madrid created more chances, clearly dominating Paris FC in both the first and second legs, defeating their opponent with an aggregate score of 5-2. Barcelona now awaits in the quarter-final tie.
