Real Madrid defeated Deportivo in their first away match. Our team took the lead in the first half through Linda Caicedo (31’), and Andersson extended the advantage before halftime (39’). Pau Quesada's side maintained their lead in the second half, securing their second win in three matches to remain unbeaten at the start of the league.

The match began with Madrid posing a threat from the opening minutes. In the 6th minute, the referee awarded a penalty for Millene's foul on Beerensteyn during a corner kick. Linda C. stepped up to take it, but Tarazona guessed her intentions and saved the Colombian's shot. After a more balanced phase, the madridistas regained control and found the breakthrough in the 31st minute. Linda delivered a brilliant play, placing the ball into the top corner with her right foot to make it 0-1.

Andersson extends the lead
Just eight minutes later, the second goal arrived. Andreia J. J. delivered a corner, and Andersson connected with a left-footed shot to beat Deportivo's goalkeeper (39’). Our team controlled the remaining minutes and went into halftime with a two-goal advantage.

After the break, Pau Quesada's side maintained the same dynamic and continued to dominate the game. Frohms made a crucial save past the hour mark to prevent the Galician side from reducing the deficit, stopping a header from Redru after a corner kick. Beerensteyn came very close to scoring the third goal in the 77th minute, but her shot from close range hit the post. Deportivo pushed for a goal to get back into the match in the final stages, but Madrid stood firm defensively and secured all three points at Riazor.
